I'm excited to announce the inclusion of my short story, The Cookie Crumbles, in the crime fiction anthology, THE BEST LAID PLANS coming out this month from Superior Shores Press. Our home rebuilding project is now underway. Our foundation was poured in May and the framing is growing more intricate day by day.

BEFORE....

This is the sight that met us when we returned after the Thomas Fire in December 2017. Our home was gone and steam was still rising from the scorched earth.

AFTER...

The 18 months between the fire and the start of rebuilding were challenging. Though we still have a long way to go, it's bittersweet seeing the house going up again.
